Three-time Stock Car champion makes use of Gabriel Casagrande's regularity and bad luck at Velopark this Sunday to put nine points on the championship lead

Daniel Serra didn't need to win either of the two chaotic races disputed at Velopark this Sunday (3), valid for the Stock Car 6th round, to take the lead of the championship. It was enough for the Eurofarma RC driver to score 27 points in the races to reach 182 on the table and knock Gabriel Casagrande off the top spot.
The A.Mattheis Vogel driver had a Sunday to forget. Casagrande didn't score a single point in the two races and remained in second place with 173 points, nine behind Serra. In third place is Rubens Barrichello, who added 15 points in the championship and closes the weekend with 148. In fourth place was race 1 winner Gaetano Di Mauro, one behind the Full Time pilot.
In fifth place comes Matías Rossi. The Argentinean driver scored an impressive three podiums in four races at the Rio Grande do Sul circuit and ends the double round with 137 points. In sixth place was race 2 winner Bruno Baptista, with 130 points. In seventh place comes César Ramos, from Ipiranga Racing, with 119 points.
In eighth place, Rafael Suzuki, from Full Time Bassani, with 116 points. In ninth, Ricardo Zonta, from RCM, with 115 points. And closing the top-10 in the classification table is Guilherme Salas, from KTF Racing, with 112 points.
Gabriel Robe, from RKL Competições, also scored his first seven points in Stock Car racing. Beto Monteiro (5), from Scuderia CJ, and Tuca Antoniazi (7), from Hot Car Competições, also scored their first points of the season.
Stock Car will be back on the track next July 31 (Sunday) for the double round at Interlagos.
