The Ipiranga Racing driver didn't take any notice of his opponents and set the best time in the second practice session at Velopark. TL1 leader, Marcos Gomes kept his excellent day and closed second

Ramos beats Gomes by 0s059 and ends Friday leading TL2 at Velopark

César Ramos closed Friday (1) in the lead of the Stock Car TL2, held at the Velopark Speedway, in Rio Grande do Sul. The Ipiranga Racing pilot set a time of 55s727 and was only 0s059 ahead of Marcos Gomes, who led the first practice session earlier.

Bruno Baptista, from RCM Motorsport, finished third, with a time of 55s863, ahead of Ricardo Maurício, from Eurofarma, who was fourth. In fifth place came Ricardo Zonta, also from RCM, with 55s924.

In sixth place was the season's leader, Gabriel Casagrande, who clocked 55s939. In seventh place comes his A. Mattheis Vogel teammate, Matías Rossi.

In eighth position was Thiago Camilo, from Ipiranga, with 55s988. Júlio Campos, from Lubrax, closed in ninth, and Felipe Baptista completed the top-10 with a time of 56s098.

The first group of drivers to enter was the same as in TL1:Attila Abreu, Maurício, Denis Navarro, Zonta, Felipe Baptista, Gianluca Petecof, Allam Khodair, Rossi, Tony Kanaan, Rodrigo Baptista, Lucas Foresti, Campos, Gustavo Frigotto, Camilo, Beto Monteiro and Tuca Antoniazi.

And the second group took to the track with:Cacá Bueno, Rafael Suzuki, Gaetano Di Mauro, Felipe Massa, Galid Osman, Daniel Serra, Ramos, Nelsinho Piquet, Gabriel Robe, Pedro Cardoso, Bruno, Diego Nunes, Sergio Jimenez, Gomes, Casagrande, Guilherme Salas, Felipe Lapenna, and Rubens Barrichello.

The best first sector of TL2 went to Campos, with a time of 16s067. And the last two best sectors of the gaúcha track went to Ramos, with 16s109 and 23s325, respectively.
