Find out how Race 2 went at Velopark:

The pole-position for race 2 was Nelsinho Piquet, from Motul TMG. At the start, the pilot even went straight through turn 1, but managed to keep the lead of the race. Átila Abreu almost left his car on the barrier, under pressure from Felipe Massa.
For having crashed at the end of race 1, Gustavo Frigotto didn't even start this race in the Rio Grande do Sul circuit. On lap 3 Denis Navarro went straight through and his car hit the tire wall. The race was yellow flagged until the driver was removed from the dangerous position.
Thiago Camilo had a problem with the ignition and fell to 29th place. The race was under the safety car for seven laps and, when the race was restarted, Piquet held the lead, with Rossi and Salas right behind. Further back, Galid Osman spun and went to the grass. On lap 9, it was Bruno Baptista's turn to go straight, now with a flat tire. The race was over for him.
In turn 10, Robe was touched by Lapenna and almost abandoned the race. With 16 minutes to go, the Argentinean of the A. Mattheis Vogel team is back on the leader Piquet. On lap 14, the pit box is open: time for the pit-stop window.
Rossi's pit-stop was perfect, he left in front of Piquet and took the lead of the race. With nine minutes to go, a touch from Suzuki on Maurício almost put everything to waste. Cacá Bueno and Marcos Gomes went sideways and passed, in passing, Daniel Serra.
On lap 20, Thiago Camilo returns to the pits and it's the end of the race for him. Further back, Lapenna's car shuts down and he also leaves the race. Piquet starts to get closer to the leader and, at the end of the straight, takes the lead.
With two minutes to go, the Motul driver had opened a 2s7 lead over Rossi and was cruising towards his first win of the year. In the opening of the last lap, Jimenez went off the back and abandoned the race.
