Lapenna is punished for speeding in the pits and Ramos inherits pole position in Interlagos

Felipe Lapenna's joy when he conquered the first pole-position of the 2022 Stock Car season this Saturday (30) in Interlagos. The pilot from Hot Car Competições exceeded the speed limit at the pit lane exit and lost three positions on the grid.

Felipe went through the pits at 53.4 km/h, when the speed limit is 50 km/h. As a result, Lapenna dropped to fourth place on the grid.

Meanwhile, César Ramos inherits the pole-position for Sunday's (31st) race. Beside him will be Matías Rossi, from A. Mattheis Vogel, while Felipe Fraga will leave in third position.

The punishment was announced right after the Hot Car party for Lapenna's victory. Now it's up to Lapenna to pick himself up and go for a recovery race in Interlagos. Ramos adds two points for pole position and reaches 129 in the championship.

Stock Car will hold race 1 on Sunday (31st), starting at 1:10 pm, while race 2 will start at 1:45 pm (both times in Brasilia).GRANDE PRÊMIO will follow all the activities at Interlagos.
