Best placed among Ducati riders in the World Riders' Championship standings, the Pramac owner considered that he cannot receive more support from the Borgo Panigale outfit, since he currently receives the most

Johann Zarco has ruled out a change in attitude from Ducati or Formula 1-style team orders to benefit him now that he is the best placed of the brand's riders in the MotoGP World Riders' Championship. In the Frenchman's view, the support he currently receives from the house of Borgo Panigale "is already total."
In recent races Johann has been the most consistent of the brand's riders, and this has placed him third in the standings behind leader Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaró, who remains in second place. The Frenchman now has 61 points less than the leader.

Asked if he believes he can be prioritized by Ducati if the streak of good results continues, Zarco replied, "There is no more support to receive from Ducati because of my position. That is a very good thing about Ducati."
"When you start the season at Pramac, you know you have full support as a factory rider and that's really important," he commented. "We all have a chance to be at the top of the championship. At the moment, I'm the one in third place, because I've been consistent in the last four races, and the team is always pushing to the maximum," he continued.
Zarco evaluated that Ducati's strategy is to use all the riders also to develop the bike, and therefore it is necessary to offer quality support to all of them.
"We have eight Ducati on the track and that helps the riders to compare themselves and improve. That helps improve Ducati to get good data from the eight riders, but to do that they also need to give good material to all of them and that is what they have been doing," he stressed. "They will not give me more support because I am the third. The support is already total. We have a Yamaha and an Aprilia in first and second. The Yamaha is Fabio's and he is in an incredible moment and is very strong. He is controlling everything perfectly," he acknowledged.
"The Aprilia is Aleix's surprise and everything is working perfectly for him this year as well. At Ducati, we have a very high potential, but we had some problems [at the beginning of the year]. It was like 'high potential, but hard to reach'. When you reach it, you make lap records and you can win the race. I hope to do that very soon," he added.
