Tatsuki Suzuki even escaped from the track at the start of TL2 in Germany, but recovered in time to be fastest in Friday's Moto3 free practice

Tatsuki Suzuki even made a run off the track at the beginning of Moto3 free practice 2, but the Japanese rider recovered in time to fly at the end and take from Izan Guevara the best time of Friday (17) in Germany. The rider set a lap of 1min26s363, leaving the Aspar GasGas representative in second, with his lap of TL1 set at 1min26s459.
In the combined times Dennis Foggia was third after improving on his time from the first session, 0s66s off Guevara's time.
The fourth fastest Moto3 rider of the day was Joel Kelso, who also set a time in the second practice. JohnMcPhee rounded out the top-5 thanks to a lap of 1min26s691 recorded in Germany in the morning.
Brazilian Diogo Moreira improved greatly on his TL1 time and set a best lap of 1min26s890, finishing Friday as 11th fastest on the Sachsenring track.

The Moto3 TL2 started in good weather, and despite the mild weather, around 23°C, the track temperature reached 45°C. For 40 minutes, the riders sought to improve the marks obtained in the first session, and the time to be beaten was that of Izan Guevara, who recorded 1min26s459.
In the first ten minutes, however, not even the Aspar GasGas representative managed to improve his own mark, but he was the only one to lap under 1min27s, with the best lap so far being 1min26s885. The closest to the time was the Honda of Ricardo Rossi, with a lap of 1min27s225 - however, still far from the second best lap in the combined times, belonging to John McPhee: 1min26s691.
With 25 minutes to go, Dennis Foggia turned a 1min27s068, giving indications that, closer to the end, the times could improve. However, it was still far from the lap achieved by Guevara in TL1. Meanwhile, Brazilian Diogo Moreira was eighth with 1min27s530, 0s1 better than the time recorded in the first session.
