Razlan Razali gave an interview this Saturday (18) and was asked a lot about who will be the RNF drivers in 2023, but the team boss denied it, saying only that it would be interesting to have someone in the pits who combines youth and experience

The rider market for 2023 is a thousand per hour in MotoGP. And one piece that is available after the confirmation of Jack Miller at KTM - thus closing the team's rider duo for the 2023 and 2024 seasons - is Miguel Oliveira. The Portuguese rider has been tipped as one of the RNF's right names for next year, but boss Razlan Razali denied this during a press conference this Saturday (18) in Germany, saying that the press speculations are wrong.
Oliveira left KTM after turning down the possibility of racing in the Tech3 next year just to stay with the team. The RNF has, besides the Portuguese rider, other names that are also being linked to its roster for 2023, such as Moto2's Álex Rins and Celestino Vietti.

"I think journalists are getting it wrong [about rumors of possible names for the RNF]," Razali stated. "We are still talking, we are waiting. There are a lot of drivers out there, good, young drivers. Even if we fit the pieces together, there are still good drivers out there. So let's wait for the other teams to announce their drivers. I think for the first time, the newspapers have got it all wrong," he stressed.
Starting in 2023, the RNF will become Aprilia's satellite for at least two seasons. Currently, the riders defending the team are Andrea Dovizioso and Darryn Binder, and Razali was also asked about the possibility of promoting someone from Moto2 to the premier class. He avoided naming names, but admitted that it would be interesting to have someone in his pits who symbolized a combination of youth and experience.
"There are young riders with more than a year of experience in MotoGP. I think we want a combination of that. To be honest, we won't be looking beyond Moto2. There are young riders in MotoGP itself with experience, like Darryn Binder. We don't need to go beyond that at the moment," he closed.
