Spanish rider said he was looking forward to the Dutch GP, but assured he will face things session by session. Suzuki rider still dealing with wrist fracture resulting from accident with Takaaki Nakagami in first corner of Catalunya GP

Álex Rins arrives at the Dutch GP hoping for "more bearable" pain in his left wrist. After dropping out of the German GP, the Spaniard said he will try to race at Assen this weekend, but promised to listen to medical advice and face the last round before the vacation break the session.
Rins had a non-displaced fracture of the pyramidal or triquetal bone in his left wrist on June 5, the result of an accident caused by Takaaki Nakagami at turn 1 at the Catalunya GP in Barcelona. Álex did not need surgery, but conservative treatment did not recover him sufficiently for last week's race.

The Spaniard even took to the track, but after free practice three, he opted to abandon the race to try to recover a little more for this weekend's Dutch GP. Now Rins is hoping for less pain, but remains cautious about his injury.
"It was hard to watch Sachsenring from afar, but I needed to make a cautious and careful decision and do my best in the long run," Rins said. "Waiting a few more days allowed my wrist to get a little better, and hopefully this time the pain will be a little more bearable," he followed.
"I will take the doctors' advice and try to face the weekend session by session, but for sure I am very much looking forward to racing in Assen - it is truly an amazing place," he concluded.
