Quartararo's punishment is another incomprehensible act by the MotoGP commissioners

The members of the FIM (International Motorcycling Federation) Commissioners Panel have been in the spotlight once again. Days after giving Takaaki Nakagami a free pass for his Catalunya GP mess, the same judges deemed that Fabio Quartararo should be sanctioned for throwing Aleix Espargaró off the track on lap 5 of the Dutch GP.

Fabio made a mistake, for which he apologized directly to Aleix as soon as the race was over. A mistake that, by the way, he assumed publicly. But it was not an overly aggressive mistake, nor was it anything that might have harmed Aleix's integrity.
