Fabio Quartararo left the German GP even looser in the MotoGP standings. With his third victory of the 2022 season, the Frenchman ended Sunday (19) with 172 World Riders' Championship points, extending his advantage over Aleix Espargaró in the title race to 34.
Second place at Sachsenring, Johann Zarco advanced in the standings to third place, 61 points behind his fellow Spaniard. Suffering in the absence of his team boss, away on Covid-19, Enea Bastianini had a lackluster weekend, and dropped to fourth in the standings with 100 points.

Brad Binder is now fifth, ahead of Francesco Bagnaia, who dropped to sixth after his fourth zero in the 2022 season. Jack Miller moved up from ninth to seventh after securing a place on the German podium.
Absent this Sunday, Álex Rins dropped to ninth ahead of Joan Mir, who crashed and did not complete the race. Miguel Oliveira moved up one position and is now tenth. Jorge Martin also advanced one place and is 11th, ahead of Marc Márquez, who is recovering from surgery.
Luca Marini achieved the best result of his MotoGP career and moved up one place in the standings to 13th, ahead of Maverick Viñales, who suffered a crash when he was performing at his best since his Aprilia debut. Pol Espargaró is right behind.
With 35 points, Marco Bezzecchi is the best among the rookies in 17th, ahead of Álex Márquez and Franco Morbidelli. Fabio Di Giannantonio is 20th, followed by Darryn Binder, Andrea Dovizioso, Remy Gardner, and Raúl Fernández, the bottom of the standings.

The fight between the factories continues with the positions unchanged. Despite its defeat at Sachsenring, Ducati maintains its lead, now with 221 points, 49 more than Yamaha. Aprilia is in third place, 82 tenths behind the leader.
KTM comes in third, ahead of Suzuki, which has not scored in three of the last four races. The giant Honda remains in crisis, at the bottom of the race, with only 81 points.

In the race between the teams, Yamaha turned the tables on Aprilia. Despite Franco Morbidelli's poor form, the three-tone team reached 197 points on Sunday and took the lead from the home of Noale by 13 points.
On the Ducati side, the powerful factory team also suffered a setback. Although Jack Miller was back on the podium after two bad races, Francesco Bagnaia's fourth retirement of the year allowed Pramac to pass the official team for third place by a ten-point difference.
KTM passed Suzuki and is now fifth. Gresini is seventh, ahead of Honda, VR46, LCR, and RNF. With only 14 points from the ten rounds played so far, the Tech3 is at the bottom of the standings.
