Moreira reassessed after TL1 and ruled out of Moto3 Spanish GP

Diogo Moreira suffered a fractured left wrist at the Italian GP in Mugello last week after a fall during the race. On Friday (3) morning, the Brazilian was able to take part in the first practice session of the Catalunya stage - he was 29th, obviously with physical problems -, but he was reevaluated and will not participate in the Spanish GP.

In Italy, Moreira was doing well in Sunday's race. He flirted with victory several times and, in the end, his chances seemed greater. He led and even opened a certain advantage, but he was swallowed up and ended up in the sixth position.

In the final meters, Ricardo Rossi passed the Brazilian, who dropped to seventh place. Moreira crashed in the final corner, when he was ejected after a touch with Rossi at Bucine, corner 15. Minutes later, MotoGP announced the injury to the rider, who makes his debut season in Moto3 in 2022.

There is still no information about Diogo's recovery time. After eight rounds, it is his first injury in the World Championship. So far, #10 has 34 points and is in 12th place in the World Riders' Championship.
