Friday gave Diogo Moreira the impression that he would have a good qualifying this Saturday (18) for the Moto3 German GP. But the Brazilian fought hard in Q1 to be among the four that would go to Q2 and hit the crossbar, finishing fifth and, consequently, 18th - Jaume Masiá ran out of time, so the Brazilian still moved up one position.

After the session that defined the starting grid, Moreira guaranteed that the wrist injury, which left him out of the Catalunya round, didn't bother him this time. The Brazilian, in fact, did not hide his frustration with the result.

Saturday's problems started already in free practice 3 and continued in the next session. "I couldn't do a good lap in TL3, and in Q1 I suffered a bit. For tomorrow, the important thing is to start well and fight as hard as possible," Moreira concluded.
