Honda has a bad run in MotoGP, but Rins made good choice with LCR

Although the RC213V has already experienced infinitely more glorious moments in MotoGP, Álex Rins has not chosen a bad path for the continuation of his career in the World Championship. Living in Marc Márquez's shadow is not easy, but Rins has experience and the contract with HRC guarantees him the right to at least have a say in the bike's evolution.

Álex Rins didn't make a bad choice by agreeing a two-year deal with HRC to race with LCR Honda in MotoGP. With the departure from Suzuki at the end of the season, the Spaniard needed a new address and managed to achieve his goal of securing a factory contract.

For GRANDE PRÊMIO, Juliana Tesser analyzes that, although the RC213V is not in a good phase and that living in the shadow of Marc Márquez is not the easiest of things, Rins has enough experience to be able to position himself well in the new team. Furthermore, the fact that he has a direct contract with HRC guarantees him the right to sit at the table and participate in the discussions surrounding the development of the bike.

Rins and the whole of MotoGP will only be back in action on August 7th, with the British GP at Silverstone.GRANDE PRÊMIO is following all the activities of the 2022 MotoGP World Championship.
