Francesco Bagnaia is still unsure as to why he crashed in Germany, but he has already turned the page and displayed a strong pace in the second MotoGP practice at Assen. After starting the second practice for the Dutch GP on a wet track, the Italian took advantage of the introduction of slicks to show the good pace of the Ducati and ensure the top of the timesheet on Friday (24).

As happened in the morning, the track started wet in the afternoon practice, but with no rain, a dry track soon formed. The slicks then entered the field, promoting an intense exchange of positions on the timesheet. At the end of 45 minutes of activity, it was Pecco who took the lead, with the fastest of 19 laps in 1min33s274.
