Aleix Espargaró took advantage of the first 11 rounds of the 2022 season to change his status in MotoGP. If before he was labeled as a supporting player, today the Catalan is an illustrious protagonist, the rider closest to threatening Fabio Quartararo's bi-championship.
In the 12th season of his MotoGP career, Aleix managed to drive the Aprilia to the top and took advantage to win the first victory of his career in Argentina. And it was not by chance. After the dominant weekend in Termas de Río Hondo, Pol's brother was always among the frontrunners and took another four podiums.
