Catalan exalted the good moment experienced by the house of Noale and was confident in the possibility of continuing the fight for the MotoGP title until the end of the championship. Pol's brother is currently in second place, eight points behind Fabio Quartararo

Aleix Espargaró believes he can fight for the 2023 MotoGP title by the end of the season. Currently vice-leader of the championship, the Catalan rider highlighted the consistency in Aprilia's results and considered that the RS-GP is living a good moment in the premier class of the MotoGP World Championship.
In the eight races contested so far, Aleix accumulated a victory and four other podiums, all for third place. The eldest Espargaró also has a pole-position.

With his contract renewed with Aprilia until 2024, Aleix considered that the house of Noale would not have gotten to where it is without him, but also assumed that he himself would not have advanced to where he is without the Italian factory.
"I think that without me Aprilia would not have achieved these results, but at the same time I would not be as strong without Aprilia," Aleix said. "It's not just one person, it's the team. It's an individual sport, but it's a mix of everyone's work. We have a great feeling in the garage. We are doing a great job," he continued.
Just eight points behind leader Fabio Quartararo in the MotoGP standings, Espargaró sees the Aprilia team with a chance to stay alive in World Championship contention for the rest of the season.
"Maybe it's too early to say, but I think we can fight for the title until the end of the season," he assessed. "It's good to see the other drivers starting to see me in a different way, but that won't change my approach. I have my own path to follow and I will try to fight until Valencia," he warned.
Asked if he, Francesco Bagnaia, and Quartararo are the favorites for this year's title, Aleix replied, "It's good to see that we have three different styles, three different bikes, but we are always ahead in every session. I would say that at the moment Pecco, Fabio and I are the three title contenders, but we have to keep thinking, race after race, because the negative moments come suddenly. In the first part of the season, we were the most consistent."
