Brazilian Diogo Moreira hit the crossbar during Moto3 qualifying at Assen on Saturday (25), and failed to advance to Q2. The MSI rider will start from 19th place in the Dutch GP after setting a time of 1min42s211.

Moreira will start six places behind teammate Ryusei Yamanaka. The Brazilian regretted his performance on Saturday in Assen, and cited that his absence in Q2 happened because of cold tires on the fast lap.

"I'm not very happy with today because we had difficulties to write a fast lap, and when we were in a good time, the tire was cold. I think we can have a good race tomorrow, we have to turn it around, with the hard tire we will have pace. Let's go there and have fun", declared the Brazilian.

The pole-position for the Dutch GP of Moto3 will be the Japanese Ayumu Sasaki, of Max. Moreira, who is 15th in the World Championship, is trying to get back to scoring points, something that hasn't happened since the French GP.
