Felix Rosenqvist was fighting with Alexander Rossi for fourth place in the Toronto GP when the two ended up touching and the American ended up on the wall

Felix Rosenqvist and Alexander Rossi touched during the Toronto GP. The two were fighting for fourth position on lap 45 when the Swede tried an inside maneuver into turn 3. The McLaren ended up spreading out and touching Andretti. Worse for the American, who ended up on the wall and had to abandon the race.
The yellow flag was raised for the third time in the race and practically the entire grid took the opportunity to go to the pits. Only the Carpenters of Rinus VeeKay and Conor Daly remained on track. In a small pit-lane, the drivers had to be careful to avoid collisions. Josef Newgarden was one of the most injured after a slow Penske change, and dropped from third position to eleventh.

Rossi has already been announced as a future McLaren driver at Indy for 2023. Rosenqvist has also signed a contract renewal with the British team, but without specifying for which category. With the signing of Álex Palou, the Swede will likely be relocated to the new Formula E team, a category in which he has competed for two years.
The incident was investigated, but the race management chose not to punish Felix. The decision prompted a complaint from the American, who said he had been punished for similar incidents and criticized the management's criteria.
