Scott McLaughlin and Penske won the Mid-Ohio GP, but the full focus after the race was on Andretti, which saw all four of its drivers touch each other on the track and the internal atmosphere collapse for good, especially between Alexander Rossi and Romain Grosjean.

This week it was Ganassi's turn to come to a boil with the decision of Álex Palou to leave the team for McLaren. The disagreements between the Spaniard and the team should take him out of championship contention, favoring Marcus Ericsson and Scott Dixon.

Penske is the one who laughs with the misfortune of others. Owner of six wins in nine races so far, the team didn't seem to need any more help. With its two main rivals spiraling, Roger Penske's team appears to be a strong contender for the Indy title in 2022.
