Delayed payment from main sponsor has knocked Tatiana Calderón out of Indy's Toronto GP. Foyt announced that the car will be stopped indefinitely until the situation is resolved

Foyt will not line up the #11 car, driven by Colombian driver Tatiana Calderón, at the Toronto GP of the IndyCar Series, which takes place next Sunday (17). According to information from Racer magazine, the team still doesn't know if the car will appear again this season, either in Calderón's hands or in the hands of American J.R. Hildebrand, assigned to drive on oval tracks.
The financial problems with the #11 car had already been reported before the Mid-Ohio GP, which took place on the 3rd. ROKiT, the company that serves as the car's main sponsor, has delayed payments to the team, and Foyt's desire is to bring the car back only when the financial situation between the parties is settled.
In his debut year in Indy, Calderón has participated in seven of the nine races contested so far. In 28th in the championship, her best result was 15th place in Indianapolis GP 1, a race in which she led one lap.

Hildebrand was responsible for driving Foyt's #11 on ovals. The American driver was 12th in the 2022 Indianapolis 500, and the score puts him one position behind Calderón in the championship.
The Toronto GP of IndyCar racing takes place this Sunday (17th), with the start scheduled for 4:00 pm (Brasília time). Despite the absence of the #11, Foyt will have the #4 with Dalton Kellett, and the #14, with Kyle Kirkwood. 25 cars are scheduled to compete on Canadian streets.
