Englishman Louis Foster won race 1 of the Pro 2000 at Mid-Ohio early this afternoon. The Exclusive Autosport driver started from the pole-position and led every lap at Lexington, taking the checkered flag first for the fourth time in 2022.

Mexican Jay Howard Driver Development's Salvador de Alba was one of the big highlights of the race, starting fifth and finishing second. Nolan Siegel, from DEForce Racing, completed the podium at Mid-Ohio.

Brazilian Kiko Porto equaled his best result of the season and finished in fourth place. The Pernambuco native overtook Siegel on the last lap and was close to his first podium of 2022, but ended up being beaten.

Josh Green was fifth, followed by Enaam Ahmed, Reece Gold, Braden Eves, and Wyatt Brichacek, who rounded out the top-10. Jack William Miller, Jordan Missig, and Jonathan Browne also saw the checkered flag.

Race 2 of the Pro 2000 at Mid-Ohio takes place later this Saturday, with the start scheduled for 6:55 pm (ET). Foster leads the championship with 256 points, compared to Gold's 218 and Siegel's 213.
