Eves surprises and wins race 2 of the Pro 2000 at Road America. Porto is 12th

Jay Howard's Braden Eves won race 2 of the Indy Pro 2000 at Road America on Sunday. Starting in fourth place, the American overtook his rivals early on to win in dominant fashion. This was his first win of the 2022 season. Miller Vinatieri's Jack William Milller achieved his best result of the season and finished second, just 1s2 behind the leader.

Mexican Salvador de Alba, also of Jay Howard, closed the podium after holding off a huge line of cars. Juncos Hollinger's Enaan Ahmed was fourth after starting 16th, ahead of his teammate Reece Gold who started second. Pole-position Josh Green was sixth.

Nolan Siegel, Yuven Sundaramoorthy, Jonathan Browne, and Colin Kaminsky rounded out the top 10 at Road America. Brazilian Kiko Porto, of DE Force, was only 12th after starting in 10th position. Louis Foster, the championship leader and winner of race 1 on Saturday, finished 13th.

With the win, Eves moves up to fifth place with 183 points, 40 behind leader Foster. Indy Pro 2000 returns to the track on July 2 and 3, for the 11th and 12th rounds in Mid Ohio.
