D'Orlando wins back-to-back USF2000 race 3 at Mid-Ohio

The American Michael D'Orlando won USF2000 race 3 held this Saturday afternoon (2) at Mid-Ohio. Starting from the pole-position, the Cape Motorsports driver gave no chance to his rivals and led all 20 laps of the race, finishing 3s392 ahead of American Jace Denmark.

Miles Rowe, the current championship leader and winner of the first two races at Mid-Ohio, finished third after making a rare mistake and being passed by Denmark. After being disqualified from the first race, Australian Lochie Hughes finished fourth.

Dylan Christie, Thomas Nepveu, Jagger Jones, Nikita Johnson, Bijoy Garg, and Christian Weir rounded out the top ten in an eventful race.

With the result, D'Orlando narrowed the gap to Rowe in the standings to just 12 points. The USF2000 returns to Toronto on July 16-17 for a double round.
