Under the gaze of 2016 Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg, Swedish duo Johan Kristoffersson and Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky ended Sunday (10) with victory in the Sardinia round. It is Rosberg X Racing's second win in the 2022 Extreme E season.

The German's team made the winning overtake in the final minutes to take the victory on the Italian sands. In second place came Lewis Hamilton's X44 team of Cristiana Gutierrez and Sébastien Loeb.

Closing out the podium was the Andretti team of Catie Munnings and Timmy Hansen. The third place for the American team was only possible thanks to the disqualification of ABT, which had arrived in second place, for a safety infraction.
