The MP Motorsport Brazilian scored 19 points in the double round in Baku and opened a good margin to the French second-placed driver. Fittipaldi stays in eighth place

Brazilian Felipe Drugovich kept his lead in the Formula 2 championship after this weekend's double round at the Azerbaijan circuit. The 19 points earned by the MP Motorsport driver were responsible for keeping a reasonable distance to the second-placed Théo Pourchaire (132 x 83).
In third place is Prema's Jehan Daruvala, with 73. The biggest leap in the standings after the races in Baku was made by American Logan Sargeant, who went from ninth to fourth, with 59 points. In fifth place is Norway's Dennis Hauger, winner of race 2, with 55 points.
Tied with the Prema driver is Hitech's Marcus Armstrong from New Zealand. In seventh place is Juri Vips, who was pole-position for the Azerbaijan weekend, but had no points from the round and remains on 51 points.

The other Brazilian in the category, Enzo Fittipaldi, had a retirement in race 1 and gained eight points with his sixth place in race 2, totaling 50 points. In ninth place is Jack Doohan with 45, and closing the top ten is Liam Lawson, with 44.
The winner of the sprint race, Danish driver Frederik Vesti, also made an important leap in the table with his excellent performance in Azerbaijan and closed the weekend in 12th place in the Formula 2 World Championship, with 41 points.
The next round of F2 will be held in July, at the Silverstone circuit. Check out the standings:
