Drugovich misses F2 Sprint Race pole position in Barcelona for hindering Pourchaire

The positive side of Felipe Drugovich's classification this Friday (20) in Barcelona is no longer there: the Brazilian was punished in three positions for disturbing Théo Pourchaire in the grid definition and thus lost the Sprint Race pole position, falling to fourth.

Drugovich was the 10th best of the day, which represents an average position for the main race on Sunday, but it's a great result thinking about Saturday's inverted grid. The positive side is that Felipe kept his 10th place even with the punishment, being sanctioned only in the Sprint Race, leaving fourth.

Although Enzo Fittipaldi was 11th, the Brazilian is still there. Who inherits the pole position is Calam Williams, who would start second in the Sprint Race and will be ninth on the grid in the main race. Jake Hughes and Pourchaire himself were boosted to the top-3, ahead of Drugovich.

The punishment is also important in terms of the championship. Pourchaire is the championship leader and Drugovich occupies the second place. The Frenchman has 52 points, only two more than the Brazilian.

The grid for the main race is normal, with Jack Doohan in pole, Jüri Vips in second, and Frederik Vesti in third.
