Even scoring only in the sprint race, Felipe Drugovich leaves Austria as the leader and 39 points ahead of Logan Sargeant. Enzo Fittipaldi jumps to fifth place in Formula 2

Felipe Drugovich held on to the lead of the Formula 2 2022 season after the double round held in Austria this weekend. The Brazilian driver from MP Motorsports added 12 points with his fourth place in Saturday's sprint race (9) and jumped to 154, and the distance to the second-place finisher is 39.
Logan Sargeant, who inherited the victory in the main race after Richard Verschoor and Jehan Daruvala were punished, took over second place with 115 points, one more than Théo Pourchaire, from ART Grand Prix. Even with the disqualification, Prema's Indian driver parked himself in fourth place with 80.
In fifth place was the Brazilian Enzo Fittipaldi, the driver who benefited the most from the punishments in the two Austrian races. The Charouz driver now has 75 points and is ahead of Marcus Armstrong, winner of race 1, who has 69. In seventh place, Prema's Dennis Hauger from Norway is 67, tied with Estonian Jüri Vips.

Closing out the top ten are Australian Jack Doohan (63) and New Zealander Liam Lawson (60). Another one who did very well with punishments was Spaniard Roberto Merhí, who made his Formula 2 debut this season replacing Ralph Boschung and inherited the podium in the main race, placing 18th with 15 points.
