Drugovich has lap deleted and drops to sixth in the F2 classification at Paul Ricard

The MP Motorsport Brazilian went over the track in turn 3 at Paul Ricard and lost two grid positions for Saturday's sprint race

Felipe Drugovich had his lap deleted in Friday's qualifying session and will start sixth in the sprint race at Paul Ricard.

The Brazilian had set a time of 1min44s032 on his last attempt during the practice session, but went over the track limits in turn 3 during the fast lap.

The race officials analyzed Drugo's lap and decided for a punishment. As a result, he set the second best time of the day, 1min44s241, promoting Virtuosi's Jack Doohan and ART's Théo Pourchaire to fourth and fifth, respectively.
