Ralph Boschung felt pain in his neck during training and will therefore not participate in the Spanish round this weekend

After participating in free practice this Friday (20), Campos announced that Ralph Boschung will not compete in the Spanish stage of Formula 2 this weekend. According to the team, the driver was evaluated and complained of neck pains, and therefore will not return to the Catalan track.
"He started to have significant neck pain after the third round at Imola. However, he was confident that he would be able to race this weekend but after today's free practice he realized that he could not drive to the best of his abilities and decided to withdraw from the round to focus on his recovery and try to be 100 percent in Monaco," the statement said.
The Swiss driver took his first podium of the year in Italy when he finished the race in third place. After the race in Imole, he even spoke about how happy he was to put Campos' car on the podium. However, although he participated in the practice sessions, he was not present in the qualifying session.
Also through a statement, Ralph commented on the decision taken and pointed out that he needs to prioritize his health to recover.
"It is a very difficult moment and hard to accept, but health is always a priority. I have already established a recovery plan for the next few days and I hope I can recover to race in Monaco next weekend," he concluded.
