After an exciting start to the 2022 Formula One season with a fifth-place finish by Kevin Magnussen at the Bahrain GP, Haas went off the rails, failed to score in the last five rounds and dropped to second-to-last in the Constructors' World Championship.
The Canadian GP presented another great opportunity with Magnussen starting fifth and Mick Schumacher sixth. But a touch from the Dane to Hamilton early on and an engine failure in the German's car put an end to Gunther Steiner's team's chances of scoring.
