Aston Martin had a qualifying to forget this Saturday (2) at Silverstone. The team stopped its two cars in Q1, even though it was expected to improve after the updates. Sebastian Vettel didn't hide his frustration for the lack of pace in England and admitted that it won't be easy to regain ground in the race to score points.

The German will start only 18th, even though the session was held on a wet track - one of the four-time champion's specialties. "A performance like that on Saturday makes things more difficult for Sunday," the driver acknowledged. "But all we can do is turn the page and see what can be done tomorrow," he added.

The result comes as a surprise, since since the upgrade package introduced in Barcelona, Aston Martin has been showing occasional improvements, with Vettel fighting for points in some races after Spain. Today, however, he lacked pace.

"We didn't have pace today, and we know our car can be better. We will take lessons from this day, understand what we are missing and improve next time," he concluded.

The start of the British GP is scheduled for 11:00 am (Brasília). GRANDE PRÊMIO follows it LIVE and IN REAL TIME.
