Max Verstappen says he has "no hard feelings" regarding his collision with Lewis Hamilton at the 2021 British GP.
Verstappen and Hamilton touched on the first lap of last year's race, which caused the Dutchman to hit Copse at high speed.
The Red Bull driver was taken to hospital and underwent tests, while Hamilton took a 10-second penalty and still won the race.
It was a controversial incident that provoked several comments from Red Bull and Mercedes.
Ahead of the 2022 event at Silverstone, Verstappen is again in the spotlight in the battle for the title, but on this occasion he does not have Hamilton as his main opponent.
Memories of the accident do not bother the reigning world champion, as he is looking forward to racing again at the circuit.
"Of course, the crash was not nice, but I love the track," Verstappen told . "I love going there. It's a great atmosphere with Formula 1 and we go really fast."
"So I don't have any hard feelings and I also think you can put those things aside very easily. Of course, what occurred was not pleasant, but you deal with it in the end."
"It was an unpleasant impact for me personally, but we will go there once again and obviously try to win."
Hamilton usually enjoys huge crowd support at Silverstone, but Verstappen is not worried about the reception he may receive.
"The good side is that when we get in the car with the helmet on, we don't hear anything," he added. "And they love motorsport. After all, it's a big story in England in general, right?"
