Max Verstappen foresees a tough battle against Ferrari at the Hungarian GP. The Dutchman finished P4 in the second free practice session and expects it to be difficult to beat Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz this weekend.

Leclerc and Sainz looked fast on Friday. The Spaniard topped the timesheet in TL1, while Leclerc dominated the second practice session. Ferrari is the big favorite at the Hungaroring, as the track suits the car well. Verstappen hopes that the predicted rain can help him on Saturday.

"Ferrari is clearly ahead. In dry conditions we cannot match them, who knows tomorrow the weather will bring us something. It will be difficult to beat them. Let's see if we can narrow the gap a bit," Verstappen told Formula One journalist Erik van Haren on Twitter.

Ferrari has had a stronger car than Red Bull Racing all season on Saturday. On a single lap, Verstappen and Sergio Perez usually can't do much, but in the race the RB18 is usually stronger. In any case, Christian Horner hopes that the circuits after the August break will be in his team's favor.
