Red Bull has made the decision to swap its internal combustion engines (ICE) for the first time this season.
Both drivers will also run with new turbo, MGU-H, MGU-K and exhaust systems.
Perez and Verstappen are not the only ones who started the weekend with all new engine components. Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren), Lance Stroll (Aston Martin) and the Williams duo also made swaps.
Valtteri Bottas (Alfa Romeo) changed only the ICE, while Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Mick Schumacher (Haas) have new turbo and exhaust system.
Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin) is using a new MGU-K. The Mercedes drivers and Yuki Tsunoda (AlphaTauri) changed only the exhaust system.
No grid penalties were applied.
