If the FIA handed out 43 infractions over the weekend in Austria for exceeding track limits, the tendency is that it will be even stricter in Paul Ricard. At least, that's what the Haas driver thinks

If the stewards have not been lenient in enforcing track limits in Austria, then in France, the expectation is even tighter. At least, that's what Mick Schumacher thinks, worried about the "big question" before the Formula 1 race in Paul Ricard.
"It seems really silly to me to go off the track by an inch and get a five-second penalty. Most of the time when you go off the circuit, you don't get any lap time, which is worse," said the Haas driver.

At Spielberg, the FIA (International Automobile Federation) race directorate detected at least 43 such infractions throughout the race, in addition to several laps deleted in qualifying. Exceeding track limits was the standard norm at the Red Bull Ring.
Lando Norris, Guanyu Zhou, Pierre Gasly, and Sebastian Vettel all received five-second penalties for the issue. Like Red Bull boss Christian Horner, Schumacher has also publicly expressed fears about how track limits will be addressed by the governing body at the Le Castellet circuit.
"It's something that needs to be discussed. We need to see if we can improve at Paul Ricard, because I think it will be a big issue there," the Haas German finished.
