Ferrari seems to be the team to beat in Hungary. Budapest's winding Hungaroring circuit is ideal for the F1-75 of Charles Leclerc and Sainz.
Red Bull Racing fears the Italian team's pace and feels there is little to gain in dry conditions. On Saturday, heavy rain is likely, which shuffles the cards and allows Ferrari to be attacked.
Sainz thought it was an interesting Friday: "The car was good when we left the garage in TL1. We were able to do some strong laps. In TL2 we tried some setup changes to see which way we can go tomorrow and for the race."
"We lost a little bit of feeling, but we have a good car in terms of setup and pace. It looks like it will be wet tomorrow, so we have to adapt to the conditions. Today was a positive day for the team. I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend," concluded the Spaniard.
