Alexey Popov believes that all of Russia's involvement with Formula 1 is definitely over.

With the beginning of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, extraordinary sanctions in the West swept the world.

They resulted not only in the expulsion of Sochi from the F1 calendar, but also in the exclusion of Russian driver Nikita Mazepin and his sponsor Uralkali.
