Red Bull has decided to drop the issue of Aston Martin's "green Red Bull".
The energy drink team recently opened an internal investigation, claiming that Aston Martin may have obtained intellectual property information before launching its B-spec.
"The current situation is that we cannot prove anything concrete," Helmut Marko told .
"We will not pursue this because we do not see Aston Martin as a right competitor," he added. "If you cannot prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, you should leave it alone."
The Austrian also clarified that he never directly accused Aston Martin of stealing confidential information.
"I said that data had been downloaded," he stated. "I did not say where they were going."
"But we would like clarity from the FIA about how far you can go. We have a sister team, and if you interpret what has been happening consistently, AlphaTauri should look more like Red Bull," Marko concluded.
