Red Bull sees tricky start at Silverstone: "We're not going in the right direction

Red Bull had a very discrete Friday (1) at Silverstone. And, for the team consultant Helmut Marko, this was caused by a team error in the search for the ideal setup of the car. The Austrian highlighted the car's lack of balance on the English track so far.

Marko said the main problem so far was the lack of grip in the downhill corners, a problem that Red Bull had had in other rounds as well.

"We haven't found the right setup yet, we haven't found the right balance of the car. We are skidding a lot, no grip in the low speed corners," he told German magazine Motorsport Magazin.

The championship leader's consultant did not show despair, but made it clear that important adjustments are still left to be made for the sequence of the stage.

"We are still not working in the right direction. There is something we have to adjust, but nothing serious," he added. Max Verstappen was fourth and Sergio Pérez was seventh in TL2, while TL1 had practically no movement on the track.
