The world's top motorsport class already knows which compounds will be in play for all the planned GPs until the vacation break: Silverstone, Red Bull Ring, Paul Ricard and Hungaroring

Pirelli determines range of tires for races in Austria, France and Hungary

July is coming and, with it, four Formula 1 Grand Prix. The category will begin its traditional vacation period after the last race of the month, in Hungary - and, until then, we already know which will be the tire ranges chosen by Pirelli. After all, the official F1 supplier has been ahead of schedule.

Pirelli has already defined its determination to use its hardest range of compounds for the British GP, the tenth race of the season: C1, C2 and C3 - as it had already done for the inaugural race of the year, in Bahrain, and for the Spanish GP.

In Austria, the next race, the official Formula 1 supplier went to the other extreme and opted for the softest tires available: C3, C4 and C5. In Canada, Azerbaijan, Monaco and Australia - which skipped the C4 compound - were other races of equal choice for Pirelli.

Finally, in both France and Hungary - in Paul Ricard and Hungaroring, therefore - Pirelli chose its intermediate range of compounds. F1's stock for its last two races before the vacations will feature C2, C3 and C4 tires.

In 2021, Pirelli made exactly the same tire choices for such races: soft range in Austria and intermediate in the French and Hungarian races.

Formula 1 returns in two weeks, July 1-3 at Silverstone with the British GP.
