Team boss Toto Wolff is surprised by the W13's lack of pace in Austria, unlike what was seen in previous races

Mercedes didn't have it easy in Saturday's sprint race that culminated in Max Verstappen's quiet victory in Austria.
While George Russell ran alone for nearly all 23 laps of the race to take fourth place, Lewis Hamilton battled with Mick Schumacher to take a miserable eighth place.
Toto Wolff, the silver team boss, spoke after the sprint race was over about the performance of the W13 at the Red Bull Ring. Or, rather, about the lack of it. "We felt the lack of pace here in Austria, unlike the previous races where we performed better in Sunday's race, somehow nothing worked out."

About the dispute between the seven-time world champion and the Haas German, Wolff gave his opinion of why it took so long for the British driver to pass Schumacher and finally take eighth position.
"He [Mick] needed to fight for position and Haas had the advantage because they don't have as big a ground drag as we do, and again, we don't perform well here," said the Austrian.
