That's Helmut Marko's claim after the energy drink company expelled its reserve and Formula 2 driver for saying a racist word during a live online broadcast.
However, team boss Christian Horner later revealed that Red Bull will actually continue to "support" Vips "from an educational and mental health perspective."
"I want to be clear," Marko stated to . "Juri Vips no longer receives any support from Red Bull. You need to be responsible for your actions, and as a result, our cooperation has ended."
However, the Austrian expressed some regret at the severe consequences for the young driver.
"Of course, words are not a reason to destroy the career of a talented athlete," Marko said. "Especially since he apologized. However, those are the global trends."
Vips retained his spot on the F2 Hitech team and is currently eighth in the championship.
