Magnussen: Headquarters in Maranello is helping Haas

Haas' move to new facilities in Maranello has helped the team take a step forward in Formula 1.

In 2021, the American team barely developed its barely competitive car, working exclusively on the 2022 rules and establishing a new headquarters at Ferrari's Italian base.

"There has been a good change in the team," said Kevin Magnussen, who returned to Haas in 2022 in place of Nikita Mazepin after a one-year absence.

"They transferred in the year I was away - now it's a bigger group in Maranello. I think it helps the communication between the different departments, they can just talk to each other."

"For all these years, our team was spread around the world - United States, two locations in Italy and one in England. In terms of communication, it's easier when you can go to your colleague's desk and have a conversation."

"And of course the cars show that as well. So Haas is following a good path."
