Charles Leclerc says he will not change his driving style after his accident in France. According to him, his driving style is responsible for good results in 2022

Charles Leclerc wants to forget the mistake that caused him to retire from the French GP last week. That's why Max Verstappen, winner in Paul Ricard, opened up a good 63-point lead over the Monegasque. But Charles is not anxious or worried. On the contrary, he reiterated: his driving style will be the same to fight for the championship.
"No, because I think that's what gave me the advantage in most races this year in a way that I felt very good with the car," he said in an interview with Sky Sports. "At the beginning of the year, I really didn't know how to go well at some tracks, like in Miami.html">Miami, I struggled a lot in the race, but overall, I felt I was getting better and better. It's definitely something I want to keep, for sure, because there are a lot of benefits," he added.

"The disadvantage that comes with it is that it's much harder to drive. But in the end, I'm a racing driver and I need to be able to drive a car a little bit that slips off the back, it's just that in France I pushed a little bit too hard on that lap and I paid the price for that," he explained.
The Hungarian GP, which takes place this weekend, could be a way for Ferrari to try and catch up with the Taurus. It is a more braked and narrow circuit, but #16 believes that F1-75 can do better - at least, in theory.
"I hope they [Red Bull] are right about our advantage. On paper, [it looks like we are fast], but sometimes what we see on paper is not confirmed in reality. So let's wait and see, but we should be strong, yes," he closed.
