THE GRAND PRIZE has already tested the new F1 22 and brings you a complete review about the main changes in relation to its predecessor, as well as the big news that EA brought in this year's edition

After a long wait, the new official Formula 1 game will be released this week, more specifically from this Friday (1st). And for those who have not yet played the new experience provided by EA Sports - those who bought the Champions Edition received their versions on the 28th -, BIG PRIZE has prepared a review on the main new features of F1 22.
Released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, F1 22 features several new features compared to its predecessor: outside of the tracks, the game features the new F1 Life mode, in which the player creates their own space to interact with other players and can even 'flaunt' objects, such as trophies, insignia and even supercars.

The cars, meanwhile, still have a separate role: they are included in the new Pirelli challenge, in which players must meet certain requirements to achieve the necessary score. The supercars include atypical models such as the Formula 1 safety-car, as well as prototypes from McLaren, Ferrari, and Aston Martin.
As for the gameplay itself, not much has changed from F1 2021. The main differences are in the presentation lap - now complete, fundamentally important for the start - in addition to the new immersive pit-stops and especially, the renewed artificial intelligence.
EA has visibly invested in the game's artificial intelligence, which is considerably tougher and making decisions more unpredictably. It is more difficult to predict what the AI will do, just as it is very common to see two - or even more - computer-controlled cars vying for positions fiercely on the track - especially teammates.
With so many new features, F1 arrives in Brazil starting Friday. Before that, you can check all the details in the video that JP Nascimento brings with the complete review:
