With an upgraded W13 for Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, the British public was thrilled when their heroes put in good times throughout the weekend.
Hamilton secured his 13th podium with a third place finish on Sunday. However, Horner does not believe that the Briton will repeat this performance in every GP between now and the end of the season.
Speaking after the race, Horner argued that although Mercedes was stronger on the Silverstone circuit, it was simply a case of "loss and gain."
"I think this kind of track will always favor their strengths," Horner told the media. "It will be interesting to see what happens in the next stages."
"In my opinion, Paul Ricard will be particularly good for them. They are probably happy that it's not Singapore next week. It will be a win-lose affair."
