Christian Horner is not happy with the FIA. The organization came out this week with the news that it will implement new guidelines for teams to fix the problems with the quiques, but the Red Bull Racing team boss doesn't think that's a good thing. He tells this in a conversation with Sky Sports.

Since this season, several Formula One teams have been struggling with problems. Ferrari and Mercedes, among others, have made efforts throughout the year to fix them, but the problem still hasn't completely disappeared. The FIA then decided to propose measures, because the health of the drivers would be at stake.

According to Horner, however, it is not good for the FIA to get involved. "Some cars have the problem, others don't. It would be unfair to make a rule change in the middle of the year because one team missed the mark. They should be sorting it out," he said.

"The quiques are within the team's control. The cost limit is about the cost of energy, the cost of living, the cost of electricity. These are things you can't control," Horner continued.

"There is no perfect answer, but no one could foresee the problems that occurred when the cost ceiling was introduced. I hope that common sense will prevail," concluded the Red Bull boss.
