Lewis Hamilton received the title of honorary citizen of Brazil on Thursday, and was grateful for the honor from one of his favorite places in the world

Lewis Hamilton is from Brazil! The seven-time champion will receive the title of honorary citizen of Brazil after PRC 79/21, by Congressman André Figueiredo [PDT-CE], was approved on Thursday (9). With the decision, the Briton should receive the honor soon, in a session with no date yet set.
"Without words! Today I became an honorary citizen of one of my favorite places in the world. I don't even know what to say now. Thank you Brazil. I love you, I can't wait to see you again," Hamilton thanked on his social networks.
On Twitter, the seven-time champion posted an "I love you Brazil. Mercedes also commemorated the fact with a picture of the 2021 São Paulo GP, in which Lewis was victorious and climbed the podium with a Brazilian flag.
