The seven-time world champion joined Mercedes in 2013. Prior to that, he also worked with the brand during his time at McLaren, when it supplied engines for the Woking-based team.
Hamilton has won six of his seven drivers' titles with the silver arrows and has helped Mercedes win eight consecutive constructors' championships.
The team has been facing a difficult start to the 2022 season, but that hasn't stopped Hamilton from talking about the special relationship they have.
In a message shared on social media by the team, Hamilton said he will be a Mercedes driver "forever."
"When you are part of Mercedes, it's forever," the Briton said. "Look at Stirling Moss. They take care of you. That is the most special thing and that is why I will always be a Mercedes driver."
Hamilton's current contract with Mercedes runs until the end of the 2023 season.
