Pierre Gasly had a forgettable British GP Sunday (4). The AlphaTauri Frenchman was seventh when he was hit by teammate Yuki Tsunoda after an attempted overtake at turn 4.

Gasly was out of the points and had to retire for the third time this season because of damage to his AlphaTauri rear wing. In a few words, the driver described his disappointment with yet another result.

"The rear wing wasn't right. Parts were missing, some were wobbling. And we had to abandon," explained the Frenchman, who has scored points in only 3 of 10 races in the 2022 Formula 1 season.

Pierre also chose not to comment publicly on the accident caused by Tsunoda. The Japanese driver received a 5s punishment for the collision, and completed the race only in 14th and last place, dragging himself around Silverstone with a damaged car.

"I don't want to talk about now. It's something that needs to be discussed internally. We were in the points, and clearly it was an unnecessary incident. I'm pretty disappointed about it," he concluded.

AlphaTauri's next opportunity for points will be at the Austrian GP, which takes place next (10) day at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
